Project PriMa
PriMa (Privacy Matters) is a EU founded project with a focus on the analysis and mitigation of privacy risks in a rapidly digitalising society. In University of Würzburg, our specific research topics are privacy and trust emerging from the interaction between humanoid photorealistic avatars in social VR. Our goal is to improve user experience (UX) focusing on trust, trustworthiness and authenticity, and to come up with a design guideline for the identity management & authentication system in social VR.
Tasks
- Conception and prototype implementation of system components
- Independent literature research for selected topics
- Support in conducting studies and demonstrations
- Exemplary subject areas:
- 3D user interfaces
- Control of agents
- Embodiment as an avatar
- Public relation

Requirements
- Experience with the Unity Engine
- First experiences with literature research
- Very good German and good English skills
- Preferable to have experience in one or more of the followings:
- virtual reality
- Unity rendering and shaders
- multiplayer and networking
