Teaching and learning in the metaverse

XR technologies open up a wide range of new possibilities for teaching and learning. Gamification, avatars, virtual agents or artificial intelligence are just a few of the diverse concepts that define an extensive design space for the design of digital immersive teaching/learning environments.
