ViTraS project @ BMBF Projectgallery

The research project ViTraS has introduced itself with a video contribution in the BMBF Projectgallery. Besides ViTraS, the BMBF project gallery shows thirteen other interesting projects in the field of HCI.

Objective:
Obesity is developing into a major problem for our society: Those affected are severely impacted both mentally and physically. In the ViTraS research project, researchers are focusing on the use of human-centered technology - a therapy far away from pharmaceuticals. In virtual and augmented reality, users interact with avatars to improve their body perception. At the end of a successful therapy, an enhanced perception of the body is achieved.
