Best Paper Runner-Up at ICMI‘19
17 Oct 2019
The ICMI, the ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction, has been taking place for over 20 years. It is regarded as an international forum for multimodal interaction, where scientists from a wide variety of disciplines meet and exchange ideas on the common topic of multimodal interaction. This year the conference took place in Suzhou, China. Thus the ICMI returned to the country of its beginnings. Erik Wolf (HCI) and Sara Klüber (PsyErgo) presented the paper “Paint that object yellow: Multimodal Interaction to Enhance Creativity During Design Tasks in VR”, which compares unimodal and multimodal forms of interaction for use in design applications in VR. The work was awarded with a Best Paper Runner-Up.
